If You Want To Rule

Discard divisions, if you want to rule.
Forget ambitions, close the door
On inflated egos, schemers and fools.
Keep close those whom you abhor.

It's not a secret that divisions weaken.
They tear at the fabric of a union;
Like energy vampires, they suck out life.
Where harmony reigned, they create strife.

It is well worth to stand united
Against the enemy's slow advancement.
Walk away from your personal goals,
Or postpone them till the adversary stops.

The common purpose ranks above
All personal desires, aims and self-love.
The taste of victory shared by all
Is what helps stand firm and tall.
