Nothing changes and yet, everything is different.
Peeling off layer after layer of dark confusion,
she untangles her chaotically entwined thoughts to confront the enigma of her own soul -
with the help of secret, urgent whispers of the night,
surrounded by ancient history and the overwhelming magnitude of the world.
Suddenly, all her troubles and worries seem so insignificant,
so tiny in comparison to what the world is facing today.
This beautiful world -as we know it- might not be here one day,
changed beyond recognition by the inbred hubris of the human race.
